Web app: In development
Design Project:
This project focuses on improving the user experience of the Pinkbike Buy/Sell mobile platform. It aims to identify and address confusing interactions, streamline browsing, and enhance the overall usability of the product for users searching for and listing items in the marketplace.

Problem Statement:
The existing platform presents challenges in navigation, filtering, and searching for items, particularly on mobile devices. Users struggle to efficiently find categories, subcategories, and relevant products due to a lack of intuitive design and effective filtering options. These limitations result in a suboptimal experience for both buyers and sellers.

Objective:
To evaluate and redesign the platform with a focus on:
• Simplifying navigation through intuitive filtering and sorting.
• Making search functionality more accessible and user-friendly.
• Enhancing the overall interface to better align with user expectations and mobile usage patterns.

The Opportunity: Header Section
Why are we making these updates?

• Current Mobile Header Issues: The mobile header is too tall, pushing essential content below the fold and reducing accessibility.
• Category Navigation Challenges: Navigating between categories on Buy/Sell and keeping track of your location within the platform is cumbersome and unclear.
• Desktop Branding & Hierarchy: On desktop, branding is diminished, and the lack of a clear hierarchy between navigation bars leads to a confusing user experience.
The Opportunity: Menu

Updating the header requires improvements to the navigation menu for a seamless user experience:
• Simplified Mobile Navigation: The hamburger menu consolidates navigation into a single, consistent location, making it more intuitive for users.
• Improved Category Access: Enhances the ease of navigating between categories in the Buy/Sell section, ensuring users can find what they need more efficiently.

The Opportunity: Search

• Currently, the mobile platform lacks search and filtering functionality, making it difficult for users to find or narrow down content efficiently.
