Outside Homepage Design
In early 2018, the Outside team decided that it was time to redesign the homepage. The focus was the user, the advertiser, and the brand itself. We wanted the user to easily find interesting, timely and relevant content (editorial and sponsored). The user wanted more feature content, the latest stories, gear reviews, podcast, and archives. For advertisers, we wanted to showcase premium quality sponsored content and allow for custom ad sizes. We wanted the brand to express who we are and how we think. It had to be innovative, interesting, and illuminating.
